Ok! Here’s the exercise!
The Hanged Man
Pause, surrender, letting go, new perspectives.
Five Of Wands
Conflict, disagreements, competition, tension, diversity.
My goals for sag season aren’t crazy or tough:
Just hold my composure as waters get rough;
Creatively, even enduring’s enough.
The discord may bluster around me.
Shifting perspective, that fight is a dance.
It’s fierce and flamboyant; high vibes to a man!
In mindful repose I won’t blow off my chance
To make art from each challenge that hounds me.
Pretty sure the Tarot just wants me to feel my feelings without reacting to them in a dizzy panic.
This is a message I’m getting from the universe a lot. When I’m deep in my feels (which I will be at least once in Sagittarius season, if history is any indication) I have an instinct to push. Like I’m going to penetrate others’ hearts and force them to love me with my fancy words.
Or I’m going to reject the discord inside me and try to turn away from it, shielding myself or hiding in substances.
But something truly magic happens when I take that Hanged Man shifted perspective, composed despite being a little stuck.
Somehow, when I treat my feelings like they’re exactly what I’ve incarnated to experience, the universe rewards me handsomely.
All the love, acceptance and enoughness I could want can be mine if I just let my chaotic, disruptive feelings be and enjoy the process of learning what each individual emotion feels like, viscerally.
Thanks for the prompt Chelsey!
