I need more questions! if you’d like a bespoke poem and reading of your own…
i got a question!! what can i do with all the broken pieces of myself that have been violently cast-off by my experience of my current astrological year with the devil and tower cards imbuing themselves into my spiritual life? as we move towards pisces and aries szn, how to intentionally cultivate the degredation, death, and composting of these fractured bits of Self?

Knight Of Swords
Ambitious, action-oriented, driven to succeed, fast-thinking
King Of Swords
Mental clarity, intellectual power, authority, truth
Addiction, illusion, destruction, and chaos:
The spirit is sore and it’s split and it’s torn.
If that’s what you’re dealing with, might be pay off…
Provided you gallop toward not being “corn.”A mono-crop culture is not right for you
But ambition (your own way)… success (in your style)…
Cultivate clarity; you’ll see the truth:
You can author decay with the power of guile.
Swords, swords, swords!
1Of course that’s the suit representing intellect. It corresponds with the element of air—corresponds with the wind you see the Knight charging through.
Swords are intellect because they can slice things apart, like cutting to the meat of an issue, or using your analytical mind to break down a problem into its contributing parts.
An interesting thing to note is that of the Court cards in this suit, in the RWS depiction, only the King escapes being buffered by the winds. By the time we make it to the end of the story told by the Swords suit, all the conflict, overthinking, and disaster has abated. The dust has settled. And as such, the King’s calm posture of confident leadership is the power of the thinking mind made manifest into authority over the material dimension of life.
Both cards show their subjects holding the sword with their right hand, so what you’re being advised to “give to the world” is your analytic problem solving capacity.
And when it comes to directly addressing your question, the swords seem to say, “you’re right, cleave off these unhelpful parts of yourself.” It’s time to figure out a plan that allows you to contribute your unique and special gift to the ecosystem (as opposed to fitting in to the “corn” monoculture).
But these are not “burn it all to the ground” cards. More accurately, they urge you to confront your conundrums (Knight) and find a brand of self-sovereignty (King) that is right for you!
For more on the “corn” bit, here’s a recent episode of Awakening OD. I bet you can’t listen without suddenly seeing corn pop up everywhere in your reality, haha.
If you liked this, you can always buy a cup of coffee as a form of Dāna.
