Listening for the Moment to Act
The Two of Swords and Eight of Wands give a TikToker guidance on their Soul's requirements!
Welcome back to WiggleStick: a playful synonym for “divining rod” that, today, hopefully guides DANI toward some clarity regarding a question she posed on TikTok!
Huge thanks to
for translating these poems into something wonderful and weird and totally TikTok worthy! And, as always, if you’d like a bespoke poem and reading of your own…

Two of Swords
Difficult decisions, weighing up options, an impasse, avoidance
Eight of Wands
Movement, fast paced change, action, alignment, air travel
You got a tough choice you’re avoiding, uncertain?
What thoughts have you got all criss-crossed and not working? You’re blind to the future, forgetting the past,
Your gut is the guidance; the moon’s got your back. And once you decide, misalignment will crack!
Your will, like a bolt from the sky, flying fastTo smash up your impasse and root out what’s lurking…
Strive to make moves that are well worth asserting.
Like the dynamic Eight of Wands, have you got a lot up in the air right now?
Like the blindfolded character in the Two of Swords, do you having trouble seeing a path forward?
Trust your gut.
I wrote this little exercise in an essay called You’re Your Own Guide that I feel like the cards are suggesting you should try. You can read more through the Creekmason blog, but here’s the spark notes.
Close your eyes
Say "I am word through my body, word I am word." (This is a Paul Selig attunement. Word as in what there was "in the beginning.")
Say "I am word through my vibration, word I am word."
Say "I am word through my knowing of myself as word."
Say "I am in my Knowing."
Say a few things that you know without thinking. With easy, automatic certainty. "My name is..." or "My home address is..." or "My eye color is..."
Let your mind fill in the answer. It often blurts it out before you even mentally finish the sentence.
Say a question. "My true will in this situation is..." (Sometimes yes/no questions have seemed to work best for me.)
Listen. You will hear a literal voice. Don’t try to force it, just be open to the possibility.
I think that voice is what the person in the Two of Swords is listening for. You want to know what’s best for your soul? Ask your soul!
The WiggleStick has spoken.

If you liked this, you can always buy a cup of coffee as an optional Dāna. A like and a share are always welcome, as well, though!
Of course! Anyone else who wants a poem reading…
And why not sign up for a cute lil poem a day?
