Collaborative Knights
The Knights of Cups and Wands inspire a poem and reading for a Substacker at the start of their journey!
Welcome back to WiggleStick: a playful synonym for “divining rod” that, today, helps
with the question they volunteered on a previous WiggleStick poem!Huge thanks to
for translating these poems into something wonderful and weird and totally TikTok worthy!I need more questions! if you’d like a bespoke poem and reading of your own…

Knight Of Cups
Creativity, romance, charm, imagination, beauty.
Knight Of Wands
Energy, passion, inspired action, adventure, impulsiveness
Fill up your Substack with gallons of charm!
Maintain your posture, though, dance steady-arm’d.
Romance your readers and climb to the peak;
Allow your imaginal inspo to speak!Adventure with passion and gallop around
Get into flow with the Will to astound.
Exercise energy, ride off to war…
But mind your impulsiveness; act when you’re sure.
The Knights of every suit are action cards. Pretty appropriate for harnessing will at the beginning of a new venture!
As you can probably tell from these cards, Cups are the suit associated with the element of water, and Wands are associated with fire. A little play of opposites here.
Water tends to relate to the querent’s emotional life, while fire represents their will; that inner strength to manifest their desires.
To me, that’s suggesting that your inner experience is the most important thing you can bring to Substack. What do you offer that no one else can? What is your unique subjective perspective, informed by both your particular emotional experience and desire to change the world as you see fit.
How can you share your passion and your imagination?
On the other hand.
I always thought the Knight of Cups was holding his cup very carefully if he’s not sloshing any water out while his horse executes that stately prance. Maybe that’s a little piece of advice I can add: be careful around letting your emotions spill onto your will and put out your fire.
As I so frequently do, I want to end with a call to listen to your body. It’s really easy on Substack (just like any social media platform) to numb out searching for the dopamine hit of a new follower and cultivate feelings of lack and envy.
I read in your profile that you’re into Tarot and Oracle readings, so I feel its fairly safe to be confident you’re more in touch with your intuition than most.
Don’t let the tech gods detach you from that!
If you liked this, you can always buy a cup of coffee as an optional Dāna. A like ❤️ and a share 🔁 are always welcome, as well, though! It may just help more people find guidance from the WiggleStick.

Know someone who could benefit from the WiggleStick’s guidance?
Of course! Anyone else who wants a poem reading…
And why not sign up for a cute lil poem a day?
Thank you so much! The cards gave me a lot to think about, and are very much on point. I feel the tension between my enthusiasm vs. my emotions. Even my shadow emotions which as you mentioned, could put out my fire. Great job! 💗
